EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Joseph Maluleke is the Chairman of Maluks Attorneys. With 20 years' legal experience, he is recognized as a leading attorney in the fields of Company law, Tax Law, Mining & Resources Law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, competition and regulatory law, Healthcare & Life Sciences.

One of his experiences is in business turnaround and administration. Joseph was appointed administrator of the Lepelle Nkumpi Water Board by the then Minister of the Department of Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu.

Joseph was also appointed by the High Court of RSA, Johannesburg as the Curator of Bonitas Medical Fund, the Second largest open Medical scheme in South Africa, to do a turnaround of the scheme with Reserves of R3, 5 billion at the time.

In addition to his extensive legal knowledge, he serves as an Acting Judge of the High Court of RSA since 2015 and as Judge President of the Tax Court of RSA on occasion. As a Senior corporate and Commercial lawyer, Joseph represents State Owned, Private Companies and JSE Listed Companies in contractual and Company law legal issues. Joseph assist clients with the interpretation, application and Administration of the Companies Act 71, of 2008. He drafts and reviews commercial agreements and provides legal opinions thereon and litigation on corporate and Commercial matters.
